Hello my fellow traveler
Though you're on a distant shore
Our breath upon the winds
Is eager to explore

The smiling moon at night
Lights your dreaming face
The warmth of common sun
Gives hope in its embrace

Like ripples in a pond
Our steps upon the earth
Shake the ground beneath
And move our universe

We can never be alone
Thoughts will always soar
And meet within our hearts
Though we live on distant shores

The Fix it Man

They call me the fix it man
As a youth my destiny clear
Nothing can stay broken
As long as I am near

I fix because I care
My mind just goes there

You will see me smiling
At everything chaotic
It may need built or fixed
Your car needs this mechanic

Justice is my expertise
I help everyone find peace

My mind can't comprehend
Leaving hearts broken
Yet every fix falls flat
Wounds just lie open

But it is always on my list
I gently persist

Things will wear and rust
People always strive
Love ascends our fixing
Though we want to try

The Sun Knows

The sun knows how to say goodby
Though it delights the earth and sky
We love the heat

The sun knows the day is passing
Nothing it does is lasting
Night will come

The sun reserves its greatest show
Inspiring awe as it goes
A grand adieu

Watch how the sun ends the day
Would we all goodby this way
Then shed our tears

We know the sun will always rise
Wells of sadness soon go dry
Morning will come

What is the meaning of life?
          Why was I born?

To admire

             sunsets and beauty
