Wrappings

We package our feelings as gifts wrapped in words

And send them in hope that our passions are heard 

We hope they are treasured and held to a chest

Reach into a soul that's in fear and give rest   

Oh that my feelings were welcomed, held dear 

Let my thoughts give to a heart, joyful tears

There is so much inside to be shared and made glad

Love to make known and moments to be had

So I wrap how I feel in words for a start 

To just give a portion of what's in my heart
